Chester Valley Golf Club’s swimming pool provides member families with a clean, fun and safe environment to enjoy one of the most picturesque views from any pool in the Philadelphia area. With Valley Forge Mountain as a backdrop, the 6 lane, 25 meter L-shaped pool sitting upon a small hill provides cool breezes and relief from summer heat. Pool members can swim laps, take aquatic classes, become involved in one of Chester County’s best competitive summer swim programs or just relax pool side with a cold beverage, snack or meal from the Pavilion Restaurant. Our pool season is Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. 

Jay Schiller, a veteran swimming coach and pool manager, directs the Chester Valley swimming pool operation. His philosophies of “personal best” and “Kaizen” (continuous improvement) have built a solid foundation for the swim program. The team has compiled 12 consecutive winning seasons and has won the Chester County Country Club Swim League Championship in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2011 and 2012! The team has grown from 60 children to more than 150 children ages 4-18; during that time.

In addition to the normal “lazy days” relaxing pool side, we celebrate 4th of July with a bang! A family barbecue buffet, music, games and fireworks at dusk. Along with the holiday celebration, each month we have “Chillin and Grillin” at the pool providing a fun night of food and family entertainment.
